Join Us for the Blue Light Cleanup!

A lot is being said about the dark side of plastics. We’re inviting you to join us in our “after dark cleanup”. We’ll be using blue lights to pick up the fluorescence of some plastics. Both fish and birds see fluorescence, even in daylight, and are drawn to it. Join us to help remove a lot of plastics and micro plastics litter from our environment. This Blue Light cleanup will be at Thirroul Beach Reserve, Thirroul. We will meet up and have a brief talk first while our skies darken, then we’ll begin our cleanup. Please wear enclosed shoes, warm clothes and gloves. Families are welcome, children need to be 8years plus and always accompanied by an adult. Registration is required
