Melanoma March Wollongong – Marching to save lives

Melanoma Institute Australia (MIA) is calling on Wollongong residents to join its national campaign, Melanoma March 2025, to raise awareness and funds to save lives from melanoma.

Melanoma March Wollongong will be held on Sunday, 9 March at Lang Park .

Melanoma March is a national campaign now in its 14th year. It is MIA’s flagship fundraising campaign and involves participants either walking or running at 28 family-friendly events across the country during the month of March. 

This year, all funds raised will go towards updating and clinically promoting the National Melanoma Clinical Guidelines. This was a key priority identified in the 2022 State of the Nation in Melanoma Report and is vital to ensuring melanoma patients across Australia benefit from current evidence-based clinical best practices
