Join the Illawarra community for Reclaim the Night 2026

Reclaim the Night Illawarra 2026 is a community march and rally bringing people together to stand against gender-based violence, sexual harassment and violence against women. Held on Thursday, 29 October 2026, the event provides an opportunity for individuals, families, advocates and community organisations to unite in solidarity, raise awareness, honour victim-survivors, and call for safer and more respectful communities for everyone. Participants will gather at Andrew Lysaght Park before marching to the Wollongong Lighthouse, demonstrating a collective commitment to ending violence and promoting equality, safety and respect. An accredited Auslan interpreter will be present to support accessibility
