Surfing titles set for the Illawarra coast

The 2026 Australian Shortboard Titles are set to be held at Illawarra beaches, from 24 to 30 August 2026.

The event will begin with an opening ceremony on 24 August, followed by six days of competition across the Illawarra coastline, from Stanwell Park to Port Kembla.

Surfers from across the country will be competing across multiple age divisions, the event will bring together generations of Aussie shortboard talent, with national titles on the line, and the opportunity to qualify for the Australian National Surfing Team.
