Illegal dumpers are in the sights of authorities with a new 12-month crackdown launching at Yallah.
the partnership between the Illawarra Shoalhaven Joint Organisation and Wollongong City Council will target dumping hotspots along Yallah Road, using surveillance cameras, increased patrols, tougher enforcement, and community education.
Officials say they’re aiming to protect bushland and reduce clean-up costs across the area.
