UPDATE 3.30PM THURSDAY MARCH 19: The Dragons have confirmed Loko Pasifiki Tonga’s been cleared of any major neck injury concerns, and has returned to training.
He’ll be monitored by the club’s medical staff over the coming days, before a decision’s made on whether he’ll take to the field on Sunday.
St George Illawarra Dragons forward Loko Pasifiki Tonga has been taken to hospital for precautionary scans following a suspected neck injury sustained at training.
The club says Pasifiki Tonga was conscious and communicating with medical staff at all times, with the hospital visit described as a safety measure.
In a statement, the Dragons confirmed they will provide an update on his condition once further information becomes available.
