Illawarra Police have kicked off a new operation, targeting the use of e-bikes and e-mobility devices.
Called Operation E-Voltage, Lake Illawarra Police, Lake Illawarra Highway Patrol and Wollongong Highway Patrol, are focusing on the suburbs of Shellharbour, Shell Cove, and The Blue Mile.
On Friday, Police spoke with numerous e-bike riders, resulting in a number of infringement notices, and cautions being issued, for offences detected.
