Kiama streets will see two new parking inspectors on the beat, as part of what Council advises is an ongoing commitment, to fair and consistent parking enforcement.
Council said with increased patrols, more parking infringements may be handed out, and while that can be frustrating, Council is asking that people remain respectful when engaging with Council staff.
In 2023-24 Kiama Council had 434 parking patrols, that led to fines of approximately $107,000.
