The official re-opening of the historic Kiama Police Station will take place today.
Minister for Police and Counter-terrorism Yasmin Catley, will be joined by Deputy Commissioner Paul Pisanos, during a visit to Kiama.
The temporary closure of the station ran from from April 27, 2025 to September 2, 2025, with a number of works taking place, including roof and interior fit-outs.

Kiama will continue to be serviced 24-hours a day by Lake Illawarra Police, with officers patrolling in fully equipped police vehicles that function as mobile police stations.
