2184 infringements were issued as part of a police blitz over the October Labour Day long weekend
One of note was in Dunmore. At about 8.25am Monday, officers from Lake Illawarra Highway Patrol allegedly stopped a vehicle travelling 124kph in a 110kph zone along the Princes Highway.
Inquiries revealed the 45-year-old male driver’s Provisional licence was disqualified in 2011 until 2042.
He was served with a Field Court Attendance Notice for drive motor vehicle during a disqualification period, for his second offence.
He’s due to appear at Kiama Local Court on Monday the 3rd of November. He was also issued a $592 infringement for a class A motor vehicle exceeding speed by more than 20kph.
