The region’s had a serious drop of rain once again, with Bellambi 114mm, Albion Park 110mm, and Kiama around 122mm in the gauge so far.
As for the winds, peak wind gusts hit 72 km/h at Kiama earlier this morning, while Bellambi had 61 km/h.
The Bureau has advised we have a Hazardous Surf warning for today; the current weather situation will ease by later this morning or this afternoon.

Flooding is affecting the M1 Princes Motorway Northbound Off-Ramp to Tongarra Road at Albion Park.
The Illawarra Highway, between M1 Princes Motorway and Taylor Road is affected, Transport advising the Highway is closed in both directions.
The Primbee Bypass approaching Windang Road has water over it, and at Berkeley, the M1 Princes Motorway Northbound Off-Ramp to Northcliffe Drive
