Lake Illawarra Police have put in a public show, to tackle knife crime in and around the Warrawong CBD.
Police conducted a ‘wanding operation’ on Monday 1 September 2025, that allegedly uncovered a knife on a 56-year-old man, while there were three drug detections.
As a result of the operation a 55-year-old man, allegedly found with methylamphetamine, he’ll front Port Kembla Local Court on Wednesday 15 October 2025.
