NSW Parliament is set to debate an expulsion motion, centered around Kiama MP Gareth Ward today.
It’s the last sitting day for five weeks, and both the Government and the Oppositions in lockstep over the matter, Leader of the Opposition Mark Speakman said the Opposition is ready to have Gareth Ward expelled from Parliament forthwith.
Ward’s injunction though the courts, was brought to put a stop to the expulsion, even though he is in Silverwater Jail, and has been found guilty by a jury, of one count of sexual intercourse without consent, and three counts of indecent assault, against two young men.
