A man has been charged following an investigation into alleged firearm offences in the Illawarra.
During a Firearms Prohibition Order compliance check, at a home in Koonawarra on Monday 23 June 2025, Police allegedly located a shortened bolt-action rifle and more than 50 rounds of various calibre ammunition.
Police arresting a 37-year-old man during a vehicle stop Thursday night in Shellharbour, he’ll face Wollongong Local Court later today.
