Wollongong sparky wins NSW SES award

NSW SES Wollongong member Josh Hurst has been announced, as the ‘2024 NSW State Emergency Service Young Volunteer of the Year’.

NSW Premier Chris Minns presented Josh with his award, recognising his outstanding service and selfless community contribution, during a special presentation at State Parliament.

Working as a full-time electrician, Josh spends 20 to 40 hours a week, volunteering for the SES.
