Saturday’s federal election has seen the Illawarra and South Coast, continue as a Labor stronghold.
In Cunningham Alison Byrnes was returned, the AEC says the voting saw a swing of 2.75 percent to Labor.
In the seat of Whitlam Carol Berry has slotted in, taking over from the former member Stephen Jones, winning 56 to 43 percent.

While in the hotly contested seat of Gilmore, Fiona Phillips has extended her slim lead, seeing off a strong challenge from Andrew Constance.
