If you want to know what’s happening across the Illawarra and hear the Illawarra’s Best Music, Deano’s your go-to every weekday from 11am to 3pm on Wave 96.5.

Having called the Illawarra home for more than 14 years, Deano is firmly embedded in the local community and is a familiar face at events right across the region. Whether he’s hosting Musical Bingo at Oak Flats Bowling Club or the Illawarra Yacht Club, entertaining crowds as an MC, or helping couples celebrate as a wedding MC/DJ, there’s a good chance you’ve seen Deano behind a microphone somewhere in the Illawarra.

Away from the station, Deano and his family call Oak Flats home. When he’s not on-air, you’ll often find him out on the fairways at Jamberoo Golf Course or cheering on his teenage kids as they compete in everything from running to netball and a host of other sports.

Passionate about local people, local events and great music, Deano is proud to be part of the fabric of the Illawarra and loves keeping listeners connected to everything happening across the region.
