MJ

MJ was influenced by radio through his father who used to host his own heavy metal radio show not long before MJ was born! Shortly after MJ finished high school, they created a father-son radio show playing country-pop. Over the years they interviewed country music heavyweights both local and abroad. Even won a People's Choice Award!

The show was a passion project and after a few years of doing it for fun, MJ realised he should pursue a career in the radio industry. Following a couple of uni courses and radio gigs in Goulburn and Canberra, MJ landed here at Wave FM!

MJ is no stranger to the Illawarra though having holidayed in the region many times, cheered on the Hawks and even commentated NBL games at the Sandpit for radio!

Away from the studio, MJ loves his sport - basketball, gridiron and is an avid Wests Tigers fan. He enjoys watching sitcoms and dramas, a bit of gaming and a good pub feed!
