The rescue chopper has had to be called in, to extract a woman in her 20’s, after an incident at Killalea.
Reports are the woman, attempted a four metre jump into a rock pool at around 2.30 pm on Tuesday 6 January 2026, but missed the target, hitting the ground instead.
While Paramedics were able to get to her, they couldn’t get her out due to the injuries, the chopper airlifting her to Wollongong Hospital.
