Wollongong Festival launched for September

The launch of the inaugural ‘Wollongong Festival’ on Monday afternoon in Bulli.

Wollongong City Council said it’ll give people the chance to explore the city in new ways, connecting communities across the city in a multi-layered celebration of music, culture and community.

Kicking off from 12 September 2026, the Wollongong Festival is a pilot event supported by a number of entities, including ‘Revive Live’ from the Federal Government, Yours and Owls, and Wollongong City Council.
