Wollongong City Council is set to challenge, a $16 million cut to Wollongong’s grant by the NSW Local Government Grants Commission
Council advises the modelling they have indicates a significant drop from $23.8 million to $7.7 million, that will affect funding that supports the infrastructure, facilities and services the community relies on every day.
Wollongong Lord Mayor Tania Brown said she has voiced her concerns directly with NSW Premier Chris Minns.
