An investigation into a Shellharbour flight that crash landed on a Sydney golf course, has determined what went wrong.
The Australian Transport Safety Bureau’s probe, into the light aircraft coming down in August 2025, has found a ‘failed exhaust valve’ in the engine was to blame.
The student pilot suffered minor injuries, while the instructor walked away unharmed, after the plane slid onto Mona Vale Golf Course.
