VP Day to be celebrated on Saturday

Wollongong will pause on Saturday to mark VP Day – Victory in the Pacific Day.

Wollongong RSL Sub-Branch, will hold a commemorative service at the Wollongong cenotaph from 11am, honouring the 81st anniversary of the end of the World War Two.

This year’s ceremony will pay special tribute, to the sub-branch’s three remaining World War Two veterans, all aged over 100.
