The latest world university rankings have seen the University of Wollongong climb 30 places to rank 176th for research quality.
In the 2027 Times Higher Education World University Rankings, UOW has also retained its position among the world’s top 250 universities, ranking equal 247th overall and 14th in Australia.
It comes after an NSW parliamentary inquiry found that UOW has been labelled the poster child for failures in governance.
