Two teenagers will spend the next few days in custody after an alleged crime spree across Wollongong.

The boys – both aged 15 – had allegedly led police on a pursuit yesterday morning, after being spotted driving a stolen car in Fairy Meadow.

The pair fled on foot after crashing the car into a retaining wall in Balgownie, before being arrested at a nearby service station shortly afterwards.

They’ve also since been linked to a break in at a unit in Wollongong earlier that morning at around 4.40am, and another at a house in North Wollongong at around 6.15am.

The boy alleged to have been behind the wheel is facing at least eight charges in total, while the other is facing six, including breach of bail.

Both teens appeared in Childrens Court yesterday, where they were formally refused bail to reappear next week.
