An off duty police officer has been charged over an alleged drink driving incident in the Illawarra.
The senior constable was stopped at Cringila last night, Wednesday 25 March, returning a positive roadside breath test.
The 39 year old’s been charged with mid range PCA, had his licence suspended, and is due to face Wollongong Local Court in May.

The officer’s employment status is under review.
