New Councillor Appointed to Wollongong’s Ward 3

The City of Wollongong has a new councillor, elected to represent Ward 3 following a countback election.

David Haden fills the vacancy left by Councillor Tiana Myers, who last month stepped down due to personal reasons.

Mr Haden says he’s looking forward to his new role.

“As a lifelong Wollongong resident, I consider it a great honour to serve my community.’’

Mr Haden will take the Affirmation of Office at the next council meeting on Monday 20th April.
