Missing teen last seen in Corrimal

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a girl missing from the Illawarra.

Rubie Hayton, aged 13, was last seen on Tucker Avenue, Corrimal, on Monday 12 January 2026. She was last spoken to by phone about 1pm on Tuesday 13 January 2026.

She has not been seen or heard from since and officers attached to Wollongong Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Rubie is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 165cm tall, of thin build, with dyed brown hair and a nose piercing, a link to her photo is here.

Rubie is known to frequent the Wollongong and greater Illawarra.
