Port Kembla local court for an 18-year-old, accused of hitting a police officer with an e-bike on 16 October 2026.
The incident occurred on Aquatic Drive in Shell Cove, during an NSW Police crackdown on illegal e-bikes, the court told the alleged offender rode into the officer who was on a mountain bike at the time.
The Barrack Heights man allegedly took off, later found hiding in bushes at Bass Point Reserve, the officer was seriously injured and needed surgery on his knee.
