Man charged after wave of Wollongong business break ins

A breakthrough for investigators looking into a string of break ins across Wollongong.

Eight businesses in Corrimal, Bulli, Wollongong, Fairy Meadow and Gwynneville had been targeted over the space of a week back in March, with items like cash and passports stolen.

A 27 year old man was arrested in relation to the incidents just after 6am this morning at a Church Street address.

He’s since been charged with 17 offences in total, and has been denaied bail to appear in court tomorrow, Friday 15 May.
