Pressure is mounting to reopen Kiama’s Akuna Street car park, with a petition launched over ongoing safety concerns.
Member for Kiama Katelin McInerney has secured talks with developer Level 33, after the site at 1 Akuna Street was closed on January 19.
She says the shutdown is hitting local businesses and residents hard, and wants the car park restored to a safe standard.

The petition can be signed online via Ms McInerney’s website or in person at her Kiama electorate office on Terralong Street.
