Following the recent resignation by a councillor, the NSW Electoral Commission has announced, that a by-election is set for Kiama.
The commission says nominations for candidates will close on 22 July 2026, with pre-polling voting opening on 15 August 2026, with voting to be closed 6pm – Saturday 22 August 2026.
