The HARS Aviation Museum kicks off it’s June Tarmac Days today, with a new highlight sure to be a draw-card for crowds.
President of the Historical Aviation Restoration Society, Bob De La Hunty, says visitors will be keen to check out the recently arrived John Travolta Boeing 707, with preparation work underway in the main hangar, so visitors can check out how the HARS team is preparing this former Qantas jet, for its full assembly later this year.
Other aircraft open for ‘onboard viewing’, include the Convair 440 in TAA livery, and Connie, the world’s only flying Lockheed Super Constellation
