Illawarra Women’s Trauma Recovery Centre launches Strategic Plan

Australia’s first blueprint for long-term trauma recovery for women, will be unveiled in the Illawarra today.

Officially launched by NSW Minister for Health, and Keira MP Ryan Park at the ‘Illawarra Women’s Trauma Recovery Centre’ in Shellharbour at 11.30am, the Strategic Plan sets an ambitious vision for the next three years.

The move positioning the Illawarra, as home to Australia’s first integrated, long-term trauma recovery model for women, who have experienced domestic, family and sexual violence.
