Dragons land Connor Watson for 2027

It’s official – Connor Watson has signed with the Dragons.

The Roosters star’s inked a one year deal for the 2027 season, before heading to the PNG Chiefs for the club’s inaugural season in 2028.

The 30 year old joins a growing list of Red V recruits including Keaon Koloamatangai, Scott Drinkwater, Phillip Sami, and Luke Metcalf.

He’s expected to add speed, strength and skill to the squad, while also bringing valuable leadership.

Watson boasts an impressive résumé, including nearly 200 NRL appearances, five State of Origin caps for NSW, and three Indigenous All Stars selections.
