A man will face court charged with alleged firearms offences, after an investigation by Wollongong Police.
It all came undone for the 66-year-old man, when a kitchen fire at a home on Greenslopes Avenue, Mount Ousley, at 7.45pm on Sunday 1 March 2026, uncovered a number of firearms allegedly stored unsafely.
A search of the house revealed more firearms, ammo, and over $120,000 in cash; the man will appear in Bail Division Court 3 later today 3 March 2026.
