Thousands of public school students have been performing this week at Pulse Alive, one of NSW’s largest performing arts events, held at Sydney Olympic Park.
The three night showcase wraps up tonight, and features 8,300 students from more than 400 schools, including Albion Park, Corrimal, Woonona and Dapto high schools, as well as Wollongong High School of the Performing Arts.
The Department of Education event brings together students from across the state to perform music, dance and drama, with organisers saying the focus is on equity, inclusion and giving young performers their moment to shine.
Organisers say the growth of Pulse Alive highlights strong demand for large scale, inclusive creative opportunities for students of all abilities.
