$4.6 million for Illawarra crisis housing

More crisis and transitional housing, for women and kids escaping family and domestic violence are set to open in the Illawarra.

Cunningham MP Alison Byrnes, said six-crisis dwellings are set to be opened, the refurbished dwellings will support up to 20-women and kids escaping violence, and older women at risk of homelessness each year.

The move is supported by the Federal Government’s Housing Australia Future Fund – Crisis and Transitional program receiving more than $4.6 million in funding.
