Fourth quarter melee to end the Hawks NBL loss to 36’ers

Time to re-group and re-assess for the Illawarra Hawks, after two on the road wins, a loss at the hands of the Adelaide 36ers.

An incident in the fourth quarter saw two Illawarra Hawks players reported, in the match – an all-in brawl in the fourth quarter, Hawks players Makur Maker and Will Hickey, along with an Adelaide player referred to the NBL Game Review Panel.

Head coach Justin Tatum, says Makur Maker was sent off, Davo Hickey stepping in to defend his team-mate, Tatum said the 48-hour turn-around affected the energy for his side.
