Government funding is set for Kiama Council through the Active Regional Communities Package.
The Kiama Sports Complex will receive over $926,000 for LED sports field lighting, over $100,000 for Kiama Surf Life Saving Club’s rescue equipment and hospitality training, and almost $31,000 for clubhouse upgrades at Kiama Rugby Club.
Kiama Council has developed a masterplan for the sporting precinct, dependant on significant funding from state and federal governments.
