The ball’s hit the fan, over reported massive fee increases for local football matches to be played in Wollongong.
Football South Coast, says that the Premier League Grand Finals for both the men’s and women’s comps, will not be played at WIN Stadium, after claims the ‘price to play’ has more than doubled.
It comes on the heels of Wollongong Wolves head coach Luke Wilkshires’ frustration, that his side has had to look at ‘out of region matches’ – the fee for them reportedly ‘four times greater’ than last year, at the same Wollongong venue.
