Despite a community meeting on the future of MacCabe Park, Wollongong City Council is moving ahead with the long-awaited Masterplan, that’ll guide future planning for the space.
Council said it’ll be developed in consultation with the community over the coming 12 months, adding the proposal to build the City Centre skatepark in MacCabe Park, has received overwhelming support from the community.
Feedback identifying the location as convenient and family friendly, with the potential to activate a currently under-utilised section of the park.
