Woolworths and Big W shoppers across Australia who are trying to complete full sets have seemingly been set back.
Disney Ooshies have been incredibly popular this year, so popular that all Ooshies from Woolworths and Big W stores have now been redeemed, and the collector cases are now also sold out across most stores.
So is it really too late to complete your set?
Shoppers who have yet to tick off every Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars character on their checklist still have a chance this weekend!
A Public Relations spokesperson for Woolworths Group reached out saying:
“We want to thank our customers for collecting with us, as well as our team members who have handed out OOSHIES to millions of customers. Stock is expected to run out at Woolworths Supermarkets by the end of this week and BIG W over the weekend.
As the stock winds down, we kindly ask customers to continue showing patience and kindness to our team.
To help collectors finish their sets, we are hosting a final Swap Day across all stores this Saturday. This is a great opportunity to meet fellow collectors at the front of your local store to trade duplicates and complete your 40-character set.”
The Woolworths website reiterates that although stock at the stores might be all gone it’s still over for shoppers and collectors.
From the Woolworths website:
“Still time to complete your set at Swap Day. Disney OOSHIES™ has been incredibly popular, with all OOSHIES™ now redeemed. But the fun isn’t over yet. Swap duplicates with other collectors at your local Woolworths or BIG W stores on 15 August, 12 pm – 3 pm. See you there!”

Since the figures were handed out to shoppers at random for every $30 spent in a single transaction at Woolworths, BIG W, or through MILKRUN delivery, most households ended up with plenty of duplicates while still missing key characters to complete the entire collection so the swap day is a great chance for everyone to bring in duplicate Ooshies and take part in a free give-one, take-one exchange across Australia this Saturday, 12 pm – 3 pm.
This follows the strong turnout at the first official swap day that happened on the 8th of August, which a Woolworths spokesperson described as “phenomenal.”
“It was fantastic to see so many families, kids and passionate collectors coming together in our stores to connect, trade their duplicates and help each other complete their sets.
Many of our store team members went all out, dressing up and embracing the spirit to make it extra special for everyone.
We love seeing the community spirit these events bring out, and we want to thank all of our shoppers for making the day such a fun and successful celebration.”
So if you have yet to collect them all or if you have plenty of duplicates, make room this Saturday, 15th August, 12 pm – 3 pm.
Check with your local store in advance if you have specific questions.
