Disney+ has officially dropped the trailer and release date for the highly anticipated second season of ‘Adults’, and it looks just as hilariously messy as the first.
Al eight episodes of season two land exclusively on Disney+ on Friday, August 28. If you need to catch up or want a refresher, the entire first season and the special prequel episode “Marathon Day” are already available to stream.
What to Expect From Season 2
Created by Ben Kronengold and Rebecca Shaw, “Adults” follows a tight-knit crew of twenty-somethings crashing together in Samir’s childhood home in New York. The core group features Samir (Malik Elassal), Billie (Lucy Freyer), Paul Baker (Jack Innanen), Issa (Amita Rao), and Anton (Owen Thiele).
Rather than following characters who have their lives completely sorted out, the show leans heavily into the daily humilitations of early adulthood. Season two promises to tackle the real-world questions we are all too afraid to ask out loud.
Ever wondered how to cope when a teenager using a fake ID is somehow cooler and younger than you will ever be again? Or how to admit to your friends that you actually kind of like your boring office job? The characters continue to invent elaborate strategies just to avoid minor social discomfort. They may not be learning their lessons very quickly, but their loyalty to each other remains unmatched.

Aside from the brilliant main ensemble, season two is rolling out an impressive lineup of special guest stars. Viewers can keep an eye out for appearances by Susie Essman, Raven-Symoné, Gaten Matarazzo, Jake Shane, Isaac Powell, Ben Marshall, and Zosia Mamet.
