A happy ending for a wayward dolphin near Shellharbour.
The juvenile common dolphin drew a crowd after becoming stranded near Elliot Lake between Warilla and Barrack Point this morning, but successfully found its way back to the ocean just before 1pm.
ORRCA rescuers are reminding the public to call for assistance if they spot a marine mammal in distress on (02) 9415 3333, rather than attempting to intervene themselves.
