A Unanderra home has copped extensive damage, after going up in flames overnight.
Firefighters were called to a property on Hurt Parade just before 7.30pm, with four fire trucks and 15 firefighters responding to reports of smoke coming from the house.
The two occupants managed to escape unharmed before crews arrived.

Firefighters were able to contain the blaze, but the property sustained significant damage. The cause of the fire is yet to be determined.
The incident marks the sixth major house fire in the Illawarra this winter.
