UPDATE 1.37PM: Traffic’s returning to normal along the M1 Princes Motorway between Helensburgh and Waterfall following a car fire.
The site’s now been cleared, with all northbound lanes re-opened.
Motorists heading north on the M1 Princes Motorway are being urged to allow extra travel time today.

Traffic is building between Helensburgh and Waterfall due to a vehicle fire, with one of the motorway’s two northbound lanes currently closed.
A detour is in place via the Helensburgh exit and the Princes Highway, with drivers advised to expect delays.
