Union calls for sacked UOW staff to be reinstated

The union representing university staff has called for former University of Wollongong employees to be reinstated following evidence heard at the ongoing ICAC inquiry.

The National Tertiary Education Union claims a review that led to around 200 redundancies was “tainted”, and says the university’s governing council needs to be dissolved.

The inquiry continues.
