A Sunday night street race through Cringila’s landed four motorcyclists in hot water.
The group allegedly reached speeds of up to 157 kilometres an hour in an 80 zone along Five Islands Road.
Two riders – including one on a learner permit – were arrested at a nearby set of lights.

Both have had their licences suspended for three months and will face Wollongong Local Court in August.
A third rider, a 50-year-old man, was issued with a traffic infringement notice; while police continue working to identify the fourth rider.
