A man’s been charged with murder nearly a year after a stabbing in Wollongong.
A 28 year old man was allegedly attacked at a unit on Crown Street on August 17, 2025, passing away in hospital six days later.
Police arrested a 41 year old man during a raid on a home in Wollongong around 6.30 this morning, June 10.

He’s now been charged with murder and several other offences, including larceny, receiving stolen goods, ad driving a car that wasn’t his without ever holding a licence.
He’s been refused bail to face court today.
Police in Nowra have also made an arrest in relation to the incident, taking a 30 year old woman into custody around 11am.
Investigations are continuing.
