Community rallies behind local mum after on-field emergency

The Illawarra has rallied around a local mum who remains in a coma after collapsing on the soccer pitch just over a week ago.

Heba suffered a medical emergency while playing for the Woonona Sharks on April 26 and remains in a critical condition in hospital.

An outpouring of support has followed for the passionate volunteer and local business owner, with a GoFundMe launched for Heba, her husband and two children raising almost $40,000 in just one day.
